I hate GOOP. It is a known fact.

You know what I am talkin’ about. That gooey brown stuff that humans try to give you when you start ackin’ up hairballs.

Some cats like the schtuff. But not me.

And when you don’t like¬† it, humans get real icky about it. They squeeze it all over yer paw, thinkin’ you’ll lick it off. I rub it on the wall.

My pal Morris from Twitter is one of those cats who likes it. He felt bad that I didn’t, so he sent me some Beaphar Malt Bits that his staff Nellie Jean found to see if I would like them. Sent it via Royal Mail, no less, as they live in the UK.

I really didn’t think I would like them, but I felt I owed it to my pal to give it a try. Lo and behold, I found that they weren’t half bad!

Now, if ya watch the video, you will see that I crunch on the crispy outside, and kinda leave it half eaten, so I am not sure I am getting the full effect. But my human, BZTAT, thinks this is an encouraging sign.

The packaging is in a foreign language so we had to look them up on line to find out more about them. You can read about them here: Beaphar Malt Bits. They are not easy to find, apparently, so we will hafta order them online.

I do have a side note, though. Since I have been on the NuLo Simply Fit System, I have not had any barfisodes. BZTAT is thinking that my barfing is more because I eat too fast and I don’t chew my food well, and the NuLo kinda makes me chew better. This could be an added bonus to the NuLo food.

Anyways, I thank my furriend Morris for sending me the nommy snacks. I will keep nommin’ them to see how I do with them.

NoahWell, folks, I’ve got good news and bad news.

The good news first. Noah lost .4 lbs. his first week on the NuLo Simply Fit system. Yay Noah!

Now for the bad news.

He gained it all back. Why?

Well, because my human ABANDONED us for a week, that’s why.

She went away to Atlanta for a week. And even though she had a sitter come and stay with us, she left our food in a weekend feeder instead of having it portioned out at scheduled times.

Normally, she feeds us 3 times a day (not nearly enough in my opinion) instead of leaving food out all the time. Although I don’t like it much, it does make it more possible for her to control the portion size that Noah eats.

Guess that his experience is a good testament to the value of portion control in maintaining a healthy weight for a cat.

There’s another thing too.

Part of the NuLo program emphasizes exercise as well. Seems as though my human has been a slacker in that department as well.

So here’s the deal. My human, BZTAT, needs reminders. Can you help her remember that she needs to play with us and give us some good exercise?

Send her a tweet now and then to remind her, OK? The more we pressure her, the more fun there is for me — I mean, the more fit Noah will become.

I don’t travel. I am a cat, after all. We can’t be bothered with such things, so we put up a big fuss whenever someone brings up the subject.

Dogs, on the other hand are silly about traveling. They like it.

I am a little bit dismayed that my human likes traveling too. And she likes dogs.

So, when she ABANDONED me for a week and came home smelling like all my Twitter pals, I was not happy.

She went to the BarkWorld Expo last week, and left me with a sitter who came to stay with Noah, Who, Slick and me. These guys had their smell all over her!

Although I was lazy and showed my protest by not blogging, I did continue my product testing job. I just didn’t write about it. I will write about that tomorrow.
