So many of us have been concerned that pets in the path of the Texas wildfires have no place to go. I got this in my email today from Katie Hunckler of VCA Animal Hospitals and I wanted to share it:

I wanted to reach out on behalf of VCA Animal Hospitals and share the below and attached information in the event that you’re interested in sharing it with your readers.

To help those affected by the Texas wildfires, select VCA Animal Hospitals in the state of Texas (in and around both Austin and Houston) are offering free boarding for companion animals.

Austin-area hospitals:

VCA Ben White Animal Hospital

VCA Northwest Hills Animal Hospital

VCA Tanglewood Animal Hospital

Houston-area hospitals:

VCA Tomball Veterinary Hospital

VCA Woodlands Animal Hospital

VCA Spring Animal Hospital

VCA Ashford Animal Hospital

Thanks so much fur the info Katie! Hopefully some pets and pet owners will be able to sleep safely with assurance through this crisis!

  1. That is very thoughtful of them and a huge relief for many looking for places for their animals. Love it when people step up to make a difference! Thank you VCA!

  2. What a wonderful public service VCA is offering! I’m sure many will rest easier knowing they have a safe place for thier pets.
